Whole squash is roasted in imitation of butter, maple syrup, and cream, later mashed into a sweet and savory side dish.
The ingredient of Roasted Mashed Butternut Squash
- 1 butternut squash medium
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons stuffy cream
- 1 4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice optional

- use a spoon to scoop the flesh of squash and maple butter into a large mixing bowl discard the skins with a potato masher or large fork mash squash until smooth season with the salt and black pepper
- serve immediately
